Tickets Release

Do I see this right? You now need to fill in an email in each category, no matter what? Because if it is empty it wouldn't "save" the category... is there no default override?

Yeah, that's not right. Leftover code from some testing.

What is left to do for the XF2 version? Is there an alpha version somewhere?
What custom work obligations do you have that stall the development of Tickets and Calendar?
In the worst case scenario: could the XF2 development spill over into next year?

Any update on this?

Just some coats of polish. The base add-on has been done for a while and was updated for 2.1 support.

Not yet.

I’m all caught up with custom work and have just been busy with my day job. I’ve actually just had some interesting developments on this front which will mean more time to devote to my XF stuff but I’ll detail that later when the details are all finalised.

My own sites and sites I manage will all be upgrading towards the end of this month, both Calendar and Tickets are required for those upgrades so they’ll be done by then at the latest.

For the avoidance of doubt, Calendar needs styling and Tickets needs some last bits of polish / testing.

Excellent. Just awaiting Calendar for XF2 to be able to proceed with my sites XF2 upgrade!

Will the tickets for XF2 be just for 2.1? Or will it support 2.0?

Looking forward to it @NixFifty -- thanks for pushing through!

@NixFifty can any of us send you cookies and rum for beta ability? Cause my users are rowdy as hell; I need the ticketing system to handle bans, appeals and other general support that these millennial people are creating me :p

Sure. I'm going to be trying it out over the weekend on a production website. If all goes well, I'll release a beta for it. :)
