I've noticed some underlying performance issues when using FC4 compared to FC3 that need to be looked in to so that's what has held this up. I've decided I'll just roll it back for now and use the older version of FullCalendar...

Yup it does now. There were a few things that were wonky that I've corrected since installing it here.
Next couple of days. Made some other minor improvements that I'm testing out and then it's good to go. :)
I can't remember exactly which version it was added but there's info about this in the "Ticket Info" sidebar that shows when the ticket starter last read the ticket (i.e. before or after the last message).
I do agree some UI indication on individual messages would be a nice touch though.
