Tickets Fixed 1.5 Ticket View "Discussion" Layout still not UI.X compatible

The layout improved a lot from the last version 1.4.8 but there is still a problem with the "Message Details" class/div layout.

This is regular "Discussion" layout with UI.X:


This is what Tickets makes out of it:


The message details "TEST USER", "Timestamp" and "Permalink" must be in a separate line. As it is now it gives nasty results, especially in responsive mode with phone screen sizes...

Also, Inline moderation is missing, but I think you said it will come later...

Problem still exists. Sorry to be a PITA...

Now: ("messageDetails" = empty)

...and the User name, timestamp are slipped into the "privateControls" plus the permalink is slipped into the "publicControls" ...which results in...


But back into "messageDetails"...




...it will result in...


...which would be correct.

There's not much else that can be done with this, mostly because XF1 makes it extremely difficult to extend the default discussion view whilst maintaining compatibility with third-party styles. Thankfully, XF2 makes this so much easier.

I will revisit it in a future release.
