It would be very useful for staff to be able to convert conversations to Tickets.
I second that. Very useful. A lot of users write directly to the admin.
Please consider this one for the next feature release. it will be used a lot.
Half of our tickets by members are first posted as conversations to staff.
Bumping this one. I'm getting support questions by conversation day in day out.

I should reject the suggestion just because of this.
The lack of this function is getting quite problematic. If you see any possibility to implement this then this would be extremely helpful.

Ever since migrating to XF I get the Facebook crowd who message instead of posting or opening a ticket. It happens 1-6 times a day.
As I need this badly I decided to sponsor this. @NixFifty will add this within a week.

I am not seeing this function in tickets 1.5.6
I have set usergroup permissions. But there is no function within the conversation and also not on inline moderation of conversations.
Could there be a conflict with Xon's conversation addons?

Ah, I think this might be a case where the template modification isn’t applying correctly. It’s late here so I’m about to hit the hay but I should be able to push a tweak out for that tomorrow morning.
If you append ‘convert-to-ticket’ to the conversation url, that should bring up the form as a temporary workaround.
All is functional now.
I have just converted a conversation to ticket. Does the member receive an alert?
The option to convert? Make sure you have perms.
