Tickets Custom Field Applicable Category Reset

If you set a custom Field to a category and edit that ticket category the custom Field Applicable categories will be reset example.

  • Create a ticket category example help
  • Create a ticket custom Field and set Applicable categories to help ticket category
  • Go to ticket categories and edit the help category you created before
  • Click save and you will notice that the custom Field you created is no longer accessible because it resets Applicable categories back to "None"
This is really annoying when you have large amount of custom Fields and you want to edit ticket category and you have to go back and set the Applicable categories all over again 🤬
