Calendar Display Featured Events in Chronological order

It makes little sense to display events that are further in the future while not displaying events that soon happen. As featured events are unfeatured after they pass and if other featured events have a higher sort order, this way its likely that some featured events are never displayed.

Not sure if this can be regarded as a bug, but I'm sure the result is unintended.
