Calendar Thread View "Tags" 2x

I think this was also a thing we had experienced with Bob add-ons first and he decided to remove/hide the actual "event tags" from the thread view so that there are separate tag sets for the event and tags for the thread of the event. Which works okay with AMS, Showcase etc.

I don't see the option for adding tags immediately below the event date icon/image. According to permissions, access is OK. Something else I'm missing?
