What happens if I reply to a ticket that was sent in by a guest? Does he receive an eMail?
They receive an email telling them that you’ve replied and provides a link for them to reply to it.
Alright. Sounds good.
Uh oh... I tried it myself with test ticket creation but after it was successfully created it refreshed the page to the
"ERROR – You must be logged in to do that." page....
Is there no "Thank you for submitting the ticket" page?
You may potentially be running in to the same thing Alfa was getting. I've sent you a build with permissions refactored so try against that and let me know how it goes. Sorted it for him so I suspect it'll sort it for you too.
Does this also cover Password issues?
Because I now tried to login with the Password that Tickets has send to my Guest/Unregistered test account and when I try to login I get this:
Incorrect password. Please try again.
Wait, how are you trying to login? Are you logging in via this prompt that is displayed when you're viewing a ticket as a guest or are you using the XF login form?
I click on the View Ticket button in the eMail and then I get forwarded to the regular Login Form...
(I dont see the form you posted as screenshot above)
What do your permissions look like for unregistered users?
Is this category possibly private and you've not explicitly granted permissions for guests?
Nope... it's all open.
@NixFifty I updated to RC5 now and it seeeeeems to work now... I guess the other permission issues also were the reason for this... I got to the secret login page...
Oh derp. Thought you were having the issues on RC5 so was a bit dumbfounded.
I am sorry, I should have mentioned the version. But that was why I asked this:
No worries, bit tired so I just about realised you were seeing the XF login form rather than the ticket login form.
You are doing a great job. Take some rest.
