Tickets Not a Bug Escalations attributed to staff member: distorts Moderator log

Escalations are attributed to staff members. This makes it hard to see what really happened. Did a staff member really change a status without replying or was it an escalation?
It also messes up our moderator statistics so we can not longer see how each staff member is doing. They maybe really active or maybe not doing much but its escalations instead.

This isn't a bug, escalations aren't attributed to users and the actions you're seeing are actual actions by those staff members. XF1's mod log doesn't allow adding a log item without a valid user ID so I'm toying with either displaying escalations in a separate interface or adding an option to associate escalation logs to a user (i.e. a generic bot user or something of that sort).

We have bot users so that would be an option. I think most sites will have one to generate automatic reports, etc.
