Calendar Not a Bug No icon

There aren't any icons on upcoming events, as you have been stated . I'm getting a bit frustrated as this looks like been a rushed addon calendar without been taken good care

Yes. Please note I'm using Uix style.and they have new material icons

This isn't a bug.

The simple layout is meant for sidebars and given the space constraints of a sidebar, it's not feasible to stick the date icons there.

If you want date icons, you'll want to use the "Full" display style.
