Tickets Fixed Reply to ticket causes a new thread

When the user replies to an existing ticket this causes a new discussion.

Can't reproduce this one. What steps do I need to take?

It seems totally random. Its not the reply that causes a discussion. I have also seen a new ticket cause a discussion. I have no clue why it happens for some tickets.

It happens about once a week/2 weeks, so its really hard to pinpoint. Maybe it happens when they update the ticket.

I think I've tied up the only way this could happen. Let me know if it persists after the next version.

This just happened again for ticket 827. I have no clue why.
