When using the Filter option/function on a Calendar page ( /events/calendar/test.1 ) the URL produced ( /events/?type=featured ) takes you back to the Calendar Homepage.
With the correct URL of /events/calendar/test.1/?type=featured the function works.
It worked with the manual url because the code was all there but I wasn't informing the filter menu itself to generate links based on the selected calendar.
