Calendar 1.0.5 Example Calendar: "There are no events in this Calendar"

I created four more calendars and posted events there. They are shown.
Then I created one more event in the default "example calendar" and it is not shown (in the specific Calendar: "/events/calendar/example-calendar.1/"). It is there on the Calendar Index page though ("/events/") and can be viewed by directly clicking it in the calendar index page.

Caching / Permission problem?

EDIT: Cleared caches... nothing showing up.
