Tickets Not a Bug Delayed Repeat Alerts

Since installing Tickets I am getting Alerts for events that happened some hours before and for which I already received an alert.
I am not certain if this is related to tickets, but since there is another Alerts bug and I did not install other addons in the last days, it may well be related.

The other alerts bug was a typo so it's unlikely to be related.

This is probably not related to Tickets, I haven't seen this on any of the sites I use Tickets on and I don't really do anything special with alerts. Just firing them through stock XF methods.
