Following are suggestions to improve event threads. Event forums is where majority of users will go:
1. Desperately need a Create Event button overriding the Post thread (in designated event forums)
2. Add date/time and location to even forum list view and event thread view clearly. Right now unless I specify this in the title the user is 2 clicks away from figuring out when and where event is
3. Add RSVP, export and edit event features to the Event Thread itself. Again to make it easier for users to RSVP without click-thru loss
Below are general suggestions:
4. It would be great to add location filters to sideblocks instead of the stupid filter menu that no one ever uses.
5. Add some meta filters like country, state, city in a side block (see above on why)
