Tickets Not a Bug Tickets removes Siropu Custom Tabs links

I am using Siropu Custom Tabs to place the Tickets link in a 'Help' tab together with other helpful links.
This somehow removes all links from the secondary TabLinks. Yet, for all other content types the Tablinks displays whatever is defined in Siropu Custom Tabs.

I suspect this is actually not related to either add-ons and how XF handles tab links when you put a a tab link under a different tab. I ran in to something similar but I'm not using the Custom Tabs add-on. I'll see if there's much I can do about it since I need the functionality too.

I see that this opens up a can of worms. When the tickets tab is under a different tab, then not only does the tabLinks blank out, there is no link to the tickets home in breadcrumb. So once you are in a category you get stuck.
