Transitioning from Pixel Exit to NixFifty Services

As of 21/12/2016, sales and support of my add-ons will now be handled from nixfifty.com. License holders will be able to claim their licenses on the new system here giving them access to their downloads just as before.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but we feel this will be a productive change in the end.

The following add-ons have been moved over:
  • Tickets
  • TeamSpeak 3 Integration
  • Animated Avatar Permission
  • Rosters
  • Gift User Upgrades
  • Discord Integration (currently in private beta)
Steps to re-claim a license:
  1. Obtain your applicable order numbers through one of the following methods:
    • You can obtain a historical list of order numbers from Pixel Exit by visiting this page. The alphanumeric string after the word 'Order' is what you'll need to copy and only for the products listed above. Be advised, this method will only work until 01/31/2017 after which you'll need to use the alternative method.
    • Search your emails for order confirmations from Pixel Exit from your original purchases. These emails contain the text 'Thank you for your purchase at Pixel Exit' and will contain your invoice number and order number. Either of these can be used for the claiming process.
  2. Once you have obtained your order number and registered here, visit the product page of the item you're wanting to claim and click the 'Claim License' button.
  3. From there, enter your order number and applicable email and hey presto, you should have your license.
Thank you for your understanding.

Couple of days, right?
Yes, I did not return until a few days ago. I have other commitments and responsibilities outside of the Internet, as I'm sure you do too.
It doesn't even matter what the excuse is, you may have genuine reasons for being so slow to communicate.
Communicate what exactly? I wrote a detailed paragraph a few posts above about why I chose to delay the release of the last Tickets update. Aside from that, I'm not sure what you're referring to and if it was my prior time at Pixel Exit, I have stated I'm working on turning that around.
I supported you in the past, bought your products, because PixelExit was a great company. I didn't complain for so long because they deserved better. I even turned down a refund when I privately complained.
That's fine, I appreciate that. But you must also realise that $35/add-ons is not enough to put food on the table and thus custom work and other jobs are prioritised. Few people fund the development of features to add-ons and as such, I work on them in my spare time (or when I need a feature from them). I realise I have not spent enough time on them as I probably should have and I do hope you understand that I'm working to turn that around but it isn't an overnight thing.

TBH, I really dont understand why a feature-full ticket script is supposed to costs $35. I pay $1000 for Kayako and while that surely is expensive, $35 makes no sense at all. Of course you cant put food on the table.

If you have a solid addon, with monthly updates and quick fixing of bugs, then by all means charge us 2-4 times that.
Do mind that we spend thousands on custom work with developers who show that they are reliable and provide high quality, robust addons.

Unfortunately you show the opposite and thereby miss the food on the table.

I totally second that. Take resonable prices that are higher and provide solid add-ons in return. Those customers that don't want to pay more, are also those you don't want to have. But any cheap add-on that doesn't work properly is burned/lost/wasted money.

One month later. There has been some activity which I appreciate. But still no working product.
Can this situation be resolved in the very near future?

One month later again. Seeing work on AMP but no progress on Tickets. When will the beta testing of 1.4.9 start?
It's 1.5.0 now but soon. As I've said, it's a major rework and touches a lot of things. Previously, I've hastily released updates and not run them through enough testing hence the issues.

If it's any consolation, I just installed the last build on a couple more big boards and things have been going smooth.

Have you thought about getting a testing team going?? I wouldn't mind trying to break things :p

I appreciate that change of process.

That was announced and I volunteered and we could get this going now.
Yeah, unfortunately the tradeoff is that progress will be / has been slow initially but it's down to the fact that I've gone through and reworked a lot. After 1.5.0, I anticipate this new foundation will allow easier expansion and extension.

I've kept Alfa1 somewhat informed of the process and a few days ago I finished some major improvements to the new escalation system.

I could release a beta now but there's still some kinks and issues I'm actually aware of that I need to sort. I have a prior commitment to deal with in my personal life on Wednesday but after that it's full Tickets work till I get 1.5.0 finished and to testers.

I appreciate the patience but I hope you understand that the change in methodology requires work that will span / has spanned a fair amount of time but I can assure you, the end results will be worth it.

I totally understand that. I am standing by.

Bought in 2015. Now in 2017 we still don't have a working product. I offered financial incentives to fix up your addon and also to create a paid importer. Plans keep changing and the end result stays the same. Its really hard to stay positive about this. I am almost wondering if we see XF2 beta first, which could change the plan for tickets again.

Yes, it would be a major consolation to see it running smooth on a big board.

If there is anything I can do then let me know.

Even though there are bugs to work out, I think that Tickets 1.5 is impressive and a massive step forward!!

Love how Tickets 1.5 has changed. Can't wait to use it finally on my board when bugs are fixed. Now Push it! Push it! :D
Thanks for the kind words guys! Still a lot more improvements to make on my new process in general but I'm glad you're seeing that the grass is indeed greener. :)
