Calendar 'Create New Event' button in Calendar linked Forums/Nodes

When a Calendar is linked to a Forum/Node via ACP option 'Create Thread in Forum', could we have a 'Create New Event' button in the Forum/Node next to the core 'Create New Thread' button.

I have specific forums/nodes that are for discussion of Events only. To ensure usage of Events add-on, I've disallowed core creation of threads in these forums/nodes. But users are so used to starting new content from here, and without having to go to another area of the site, a 'Create New Event' button here would be ideal and really enhance usability and workflow.
