Calendar Event Forum - can still create posts

Maybe more of a question/limitation. The template edit to replace the Create Thread with Create Event is working however I still see folks creating posts in my dedicated Events forum through the standard XF overlay (which obviously doesn't trigger that forum_view template). Is there any way to restrict this?

Yeah, I can probably limit this there too.

I've tweaked this now and it's more robust now and prevents threads being created from the quick thread thingy as well.
