Calendar release

Any progress update please.
Nope. Had a bereavement in the family the other week and took a few days off. It's on my agenda for this week and it just needs a few adjustments to support new features in XF 2.1.

Thanks for your patience. :)

It would be nice to have the bugs fixed. Some are 5 months old.
A lot of them are also waiting on a FullCalendar release, I'm afraid. On the bright side, the developer recently released a v4 which I've been looking in to: fullcalendar/fullcalendar

It's currently in beta though but it does look to address some of problems experienced when integrating it with XF. I should have an XF1 maintenance release out soon to clear up the other outstanding stuff in the interim.
We have been waiting too long for the 2.1 version.
As I've said, it's being worked on. It's practically done, though it needs some styling work which I am arranging.

Oh yeah...

Major new features:
  • Recurring events (a “simple” implementation and an RRule plugin)
  • Event drag & drop between two calendars. Demo
  • Built-in draggable API for external elements/events. Consequently, jQuery UI is no longer needed for this.
  • Connector plugins for Moment JS, Moment Timezone, and Luxon
  • Smoother auto-scrolling during dragging/resizing/selecting. Also, multiple containers can now be auto-scrolled. Issue 2761
  • Touch scrolling works better with event and date unselecting. Issue 3530

Getting it styled is the only thing that's left (and has been left for a bit now). I'll follow up and see if it can be prioritised with the designer.

How much longer do you think this will be?
Is XF2.1 version available for best testing, I'd like to be able to progress my planning/testing for site upgrade.
